I was recently selected to film an amazing event hosted by an even more amazing company: Holy City Cirque. Their second annual charity fund and fun raiser took place at Brick House Kitchen on James Island. The evening consisted of outdoor circus arts performances. A variety of artists/performers based here in Charleston, SC performed their entertaining and fun shows. The spectators had the opportunity to be entertained by acrobats, silk aerilists, dancers, clowns and fire jugglers. Those who came could also participate in all or either the super engaging play shops for hooping, acroyoga, aerial silks, slacklining, and juggling. This year’s festival benefitted Dragon Boat Charleston, a non-profit that has been paddling hard since 2003, promoting physical and mental wellness among local cancer survivors and their community.
